Salvation Army Scarborough Citadel

This 600 seat church was constructed as part of a complex which also includes a multi-storey residence and related facilities. The church was designed to complement the Salvation Army’s tradition of both vocal and instrumental liturgical music, a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary songs, accompanied by piano, brass band and rhythm ensemble.

A theatre-style audio system was provided to support both voice and electronic music sources. A theatre-style lighting system was provided to support both the liturgy and other presentations.
