Grace Hartman Amphitheatre

This amphitheatre in Bell Park, on the shores of Lake Ramsay, was constructed in 1967 as a Centennial project. In recent years it has fallen into disuse due to various shortcomings, such as the lack of any weather cover for the audience. Another major issue has been noise complaints during amplified performances.

Novita is working with the architectural team to redevelop this important cultural asset for the City of Greater Sudbury, designing the theatrical systems and planning the backstage areas, including ensuring that excessive sound will not be an issue for lakeside residents and other park users.
